The Thumper Lithium battery pack is a reliable, compact and lightweight alternative to the standard lead acid portable dual battery system.
Designed with the latest technology of Lithium LiFePo4 cells, the Thumper offers a fully sealed and maintenance free battery pack that can safely be used on any side.
Equipped with an internal Battery Management System (BMS), the Thumper Lithium offers safe charging and discharging with over temperature protection, under and over voltage cut off protection and internal short circuit protection.
The Thumper range of Lithium battery packs have a usable power of 95% capacity. At this point, the BMS system within the Thumper will shut down all power to the unit. In order to reset the BMS, an charge load must be connected to the battery.
Note: The Thumper Lithium is not suitable for Jump-Starting

The Thumper 60 AH is usually included with a complete vehicle wiring loom (TUR-L) - NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE - replaced with In line DC 8 Amp
The wiring loom will allow for the Thumper Lithium pack to charge from the vehicle whilst driving and will separate from the main starter battery when the vehicle ignition is off.
The TUR-L has been removed from this package and instead includes:
1 x In line DC Battery Charger rated to 8 Amps.

Light, easy to pack unit. All the benefits of a second battery without the built in cost. I ran my 40lt Engel for 48 hrs, LED lighting and charged a phone and still had 65% remaining on the 60aH Lithium with no charging. Brilliant unit. Easy hook up to 12v connection at the tailgate of my Jeep Grand Cherokee so it charges when driving. Ordering was easy and shipping fast and free.

Have tested it overnight at home with my CPAP machine and phone and tablet charging. It only used around 10% of the battery capability. It will take a lot of load off my (conventional) motorhome batteries for extended periods of free camping especially in this colder weather. Will also be handy at home for my CPAP as we are likely to face power outages more frequently in the future!

I didn't want to go to the expensive of running wires from the battery to rear of new Ford Everest. Then installing a dc-dc charger in the back somewhere for the heavy battery, to run my Engel Fridge. This in line dc to dc charger works so well. Ok, it's only 8amp in line dc charger, but that's plenty. Ran the 40 L Engel for 2 days, the 60amp Thumper only went down to 75%, after 3 hrs driving upto 100% with Fridge running. And so light with the lithium battery, can be removed with one hand when not being used.
AustraliaGreat twin battery without the install
Got this for my Ford Everest to run my 50l fridge when camping. I built a stand to mount the fridge slide on so I can remove and have a fully "normal" vehicle during the non camping time but I needed a battery system. After looking around at many systems I jumped on this one. I mount the pack on the back of the fridge slide and plug the DC charger into the rear Cig outlet. Ran the fridge on a recent 6 day trip to K'gari no problems at all. Was doing around 3 hours driving each day and the lowest the capacity got to was 70% with the fridge on 2C and 28 average outside temp. Very happy with it and bonus is I can pull use it for power around the camp no problems. Expensive but worth the money.
