** Rated to approx 40-50 Amps over 5mt in 30°C
** Rated to approx 30-35 Amps over 10mt at 30°C
** Rated to approx 30-35 Amps over 10mt at 30°C
The 6mm twin cable is the most common cable run in vehicles to run fridges, etc. The cable is rated at 40 Amps over a 5mt distance and will reduce to approx 35 Amps over 10mt length.
It is recommended to upgrade to 8mm (8B&S) for charging of batteries if the length of the cable run is in excess of 4mt - 5mt.
